Our Team

a collaborative approach

We consider your day to be far too precious to leave one person to envision and execute your vision over the course of the planning process. Behind the scenes, our team collaborates on all angles of each stage of the process. Each specialist contributes their unique, dedicated role for your wedding. No matter your specific needs and design, we choose the best fit for your day and family. We come together to give you the most well-planned day possible.

I love happy people. I am eternally optimistic. Fashion, fabrics, nature, and textures inspire me. I am so happy when my brides hug me after the first glimpse at their wedding reception.  Those moments drive me. I adore my husband Tom, delicious daughters McKenna + Juliet, and our two dogs.  I am the fancy “Aunt Ne-Ne” to my even fancier nieces, who are convinced I work with princesses.  I was born in Pennsylvania and arrived in my forever home North Carolina by way of Washington, D.C. I love weddings, design and creating romance and gorgeousness for my couples.  I look forward to getting to know you and helping to make your wedding day into one of the happiest days of your life!

After five years in the wedding industry I know one thing to be true – there is nothing more rewarding than building a relationship with a couple, learning what makes their hearts happy, and bringing those things to life on their wedding day. Planning and designing with each of my clients brings a fresh opportunity for something fantastic to happen, what could be better than that? Tailored style, authentic details, and consistent precision are key elements in our planning process and those are the things that make MY heart happy.

I am an advocate of southern living, a fresh flower enthusiast, fancy cat Mama (she has her own hashtag), and I love to watch golf on my weekends off (and perhaps one day play without embarrassing my husband).

I believe in calm energy – always, that family is everything, and that I probably don’t need to shop anywhere other than J.Crew. I feel very fortunate that my job is creating beauty and facilitating joy on one of the best days of my clients’ lives.

I believe a wedding is an expression of the couple’s story. Having the honor to bring these stories to life is my passion and why I love being a Wedding Planner. One of my favorite aspects of weddings is getting to incorporate the unique family traditions of the two families becoming one. I have a sweet spot for families and this might be the reason why you hear me raving about my three special nieces. I am a Minnesotan forever in my heart but have found an admiration for southern living and hospitality.

Not to mention an appreciation for being able to go to the beach year round and not have to shovel snow! A favorite saying at the studio is that the Bride and Groom are able to be guests at their wedding. This is the goal I strive to fulfill at every event. I enjoy serving people on the wedding day and throughout the planning process. I love any logistical details I can get my hands on. Nothing makes me smile more then a detailed wedding day schedule down to the minute. I look forward to getting to know you and to be able to be a part of your special day.

I love planning weddings! After 14 years of experience, I am known for being able to handle difficult situations - and have learned I actually enjoy problem-solving. In fact, it’s probably the thing I love most about being a wedding planner. I pride myself on being a calming influence and believe in treating others as you would like to be treated. I honestly can’t imagine doing anything other than what I do, and consider it an honor to be part of each client’s wedding. Although I am a Buckeye, I grew up eating grits, drinking sweet tea and summering on The Outerbanks so I suppose North Carolina was destined to be my home.

I couldn’t live without my husband who does all the cooking (but still lets me dream up the menus each week) and who also rids my life of spiders which are my one debilitating phobia. Put me on a lake with friends, family and a good book and I am as content as could be. Overcoming challenges, using my creativity, meeting and working with all kinds of people and companies…I’m in my dream job and couldn’t be happier.

to lighten the load until you’re ready for us to carry it for you.

They spent all day getting soaked from head to toe, literally, to put together a ceremony fit to be in a magazine. I’ve never seen kinder faces or bigger smiles.
